What is Cellulite?

The connective tissues that have been weakened tend to have a decreased number of elastic fibers that support the skin, and distended lymphatic vessels.

Poor microcirculation that happens with ageing will cause damage to fat tissue. As the blood and lymphatic vessel walls become more permeable, the vessels leak fluid into the surrounding tissue causing congestion. When congestion happens it causes swelling, which prevents nutrients such as oxygen from being carried to the tissue, which hinders the drainage of toxins. This causes the connective tissue which includes collagen and elastin to become increasingly damaged. This eventually leads the tissue to become so severely compromised that they scar, causing stretch marks. The fat cells then become trapped.
The older that we get the thinner and looser the connective tissue becomes which just makes the problem worse. This makes cellulite even more noticeable. An increase in the circulation to these tissues is needed to help ward off the ugly cellulite!

How to Reduce Cellulite

You probably think that it is hopeless to even attempt to fight cellulite, but wait, there are things that you can do to substantially reduce the look of cellulite. One of the steps that you can take is to reduce the subcutaneous fat in your diet.
